In Memory of Peanut Butter

Clinic Patriarch

Peanut Butter was the Patriarch in our clinic. Peanut Butter had been at the clinic for 18 years, gracing everyone with his presence and a few love bites along the way. Greeting owners and their pets was his favorite pastime, and napping on the air vents. As he grew older, you could find him sleeping peacefully in his closet most of the day and roaming the clinic at night while the rest of the world slept. At his time of passing, Peanut Butter was the oldest cat in the clinic at almost 19 years of age. He will be forever missed.

In Memory of Annie

Veterinary Assistant Supporter

Annie was a beautiful, long-haired tortoiseshell cat who loved to sit by the windows and watch the birds fly by. She was the most lovable of the bunch. Dr. Iturriaga rescued her when she was a kitten. She was found outside the Hospital in the middle of winter, full of parasites and next to a heater pipe. Many clients did not meet Annie because she was quite shy with new people, but she quickly became a favorite once you did. She was also the leader of the “Shark Pack,” an endearing term we use with them when dinnertime arrives, and the smell of a freshly opened can of cat food gets all of their attention. After 15 years of her companionship, Annie sadly passed away. We will miss her.

In Memory of Brain

Veterinary Assistant Supporter

Brain was born at our hospital in 2004. She was the only one in her litter (which is unusual for a cat only to have one). She became attached to the Iturriagas, so they couldn't bear to let her go. They had her at their farm for a little while, but she did not fit in with the pack there, so they brought her back to our hospital. She lived almost 20 years old. Brain sadly passed away. We will miss her.
